Mini Skirt for Work

Lately the weather has been acting real iffy lately. Monday it’s 70ish degrees, Tuesday it starts to snow.❄️️ I don’t get it and probably never will but one thing that is true is that I take advantage of the warmer days. Unlike some people I know, I am not a huge fan on winter. I been missing summer and spring feel like years. lol A way I take advantage of warmer days is by pulling out either a skirt or dress to style. So ever since I spotted this polka dot skirt from Wet Seal, I couldn’t wait to wear it!

With this type of flare-out on the skirt, I knew if I want to wear this to work, I had to bring out the thigh-high camel boots! Adding thigh-high boots with a short skirt, it still keeps the sexiness but much more conservative vs wearing heels/shoes that stop at the ankle.

I will confess that even though I looked work-friendly, I still kinda felt uncomfortable when I did get up to walk. I had to make sure every time I got up that my skirt was down in the back. The flare-out of the skirt PLUS I never expected the skirt to feel so light when wearing it. No biggie tho because nobody got flashed!!??
