Honestly, I’ve got to get back right when it comes to my blog posts & staying consistent. It’s just been busier than normal trying to maintain a blog + a online boutique PLUS work getting more hectic & busy BUT that’s no excuse so yeah, I gotta come correct #PERIODT.
Anyways…
I’ve got this oh-so-fabulous romper from Forever 21 & it reminds me so much of something my grandma would wear. Reasons why is because my grandma BEEN slaying in these streets AND she a fashionista like me! I envision her rocking this back in the 70’s. We basically have the same taste so I just know.
This look is my Southern-Girl style of the day and I couldn’t wait to have to go somewhere in this. I attended a ‘Fashion After Dark’ event which was dope and nothing but good vibes!
In my mind I knew since it was getting a bit chilly out the door I knew I was wearing tights BUT instead of the norm plain tights, I wanted to give this a bit of a twist with the sexy tights you would wear for bae.😂🤷♀️With this old-school-fashion-style romper, I found it quite necessary to top the look with the fedora hat, denim jacket and (what I call) my “school-girl” booties to maintain that southern-girl style.
