Casually in Pink & Green

Happy Thursday aka Almost Friday! I know this week has been a drag with Labor Day being Monday and making Tuesday feel like a Monday. I have been feeling drained alllllllllll week and I can’t wait until Friday so I can sleep in Saturday & be lazy if I feel like it. I had no energy to dress up in my lovely flowy dresses this week so I kept it cute and simple with my bermuda shorts I got from TJ Maxx for $16.99. I had these shorts and these emerald green lace-up heels since the beginning of the summer and this is my first time wearing both. I got the purse from Target last year on Black Friday for $20. HAD TO GET IT!! I thought the colors were perfect together and it made me think of the colors that the sorority AKA (Alpha Kappa Alpha) members wear, except I think their green is a lighter green vs the green I have on. Never noticed how cute the colors looked together since this is a first for me wearing them together!

All summer I have been seeing more and more lace-up heels and I love it. I admit, it was a time where I was like…”Okkkaayyy I am not going to keep buying these type of heels because it seems like the only cute shoes are lace-up and it’s so many heels similar to these.”. I don’t have these color green heels so me buying these felt very necessary for me. Lol They are very comfortable and the heel were low compared to half of my other heels so I was walking around with no issues.

This is an example of an outfit placed together where the accessories completed my simple look. Other than my bright hot pink shorts, I wanted my heels and purse to be the attention grabber and I am sure you couldn’t miss me with my color placements!
