The two puffs were a success! I don’t normally wear my real hair out so this was a first for me. I was all on YouTube looking at ‘natural hair styles’ and I decided to give it chance. I felt it was super necessary for this whole look anyway. One of my co-workers aka one of my photographers Stephanie was telling me all day how I look like the old school rapper ‘The Lady of Rage’. I can see why she would say this because of the two puffs.
My mood for the day was OLD SKOOL! I am in love with old school especially 90s. The style, music and also a queen (ME) was born. DUH! ;P
I saw these platform shoes in my Journeys book I get through the mail often & knew they were all mines. Another comeback! I know platform somewhat started like in the 70s but I reminisce on my aunt wearing these in the 90s. All I can think while wearing my platforms is my aunt’s yellow Tommy Hilfiger platform sneakers she used to wear when I was younger. Platform has definitely made a comeback, along with jean skirts, overalls and chokers! Once I saw this overall jean skirt in Target, I knew my platform AllStar converse sneakers would finish the look I was going for. There was no way you could fully rock the ‘over-alls’ look without have one strap undone. It was only right! I got in character as the ‘Cool Kid from the 90s’. This 90s look would’ve been a total completion with some cool shades but o-well I still did good! I will know next time what to have next time though.
